President William Ruto has assured Nakuru residents that Kenyan Kwanza Government will continue to work towards economic stability.
Speaking in Nakuru on Monday July 15, 2024, Ruto said the construction of 20 fresh produce market in Nakuru County will provide safe and decent trading areas for Mama Mboga.
He added that this is in line with the Kenya Kwanza Government agenda in the Bottom Up Economic Plan.
“The construction of 20 fresh produce modern markets in Nakuru County will provide safe and decent trading areas for Mama Mboga as we pledged in our PLAN,” he said.
The Head of State inspected the Nakuru Multi-Purpose Market that will serve more than 2,000 traders in the county.
The project will also employ over 500 people.
Earlier on, the President launched the development of the Nakuru Bus Park that will accommodate 5,000 matatus.
The President was accompanied by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Governor Susan Kihika, MPs and MCAs.
