Kenyans have been urged to forge forward with hope and determination.
Nakuru Town East businessman Maina Wakabura says Kenyans have great potential in steering the wheel of development.
In his Madaraka Day message, Wakabura stated that the journey towards a prosperous and independent Kenya is within reach.
“Let us continue to forge forward with hope and determination, knowing that the journey toward a prosperous and independent Kenya is well within our reach,” he said.
According to him, Madaraka Day is not just any other day, but a testament of resilience, courage and unwavering spirit of Kenyans.
“As we mark this monumental day,it is not just a date on the calendar,it is a testament to the resilience, courage, and unwavering spirit of the Kenyan people,” he stated.
He called on Kenyans to honor those who sacrificed to ensure self rule.
According to the philanthropist, this is a day to honor the legacy of the heroes and heroines who made it possible.
He challenged leaders to ensure a better environment for prosperity of all Kenyans and generations to come.
Madaraka Day is marked in the country every June 1.
