When President William Ruto landed in Njoro on Monday July 15 for the official opening of Njoro Technical Training Institute, Njoro Member of Parliament Charity Kathambi knew very well that it was a moment to air her requests.
In the interests of the people, Kathambi made straight her point right before President Ruto.
When she was handed the microphone by President Ruto, Kathambi made it clear about the development agenda that the Kenyan Kwanza Government has enabled in Njoro Constituency.
She also went ahead to make several requests to the head of State on matters infrastructure in Njoro.
Some of the roads that MP Kathambi requested the President to intervene and ensure completion include;
- Njoro – Nessuit Road
- Mauche – Sururu Road
- Miti mingi – Mau Narok road maintenance
Kathambi also went ahead to request for the lifting of the caveate in areas touching on Mau Forest as well as review of the cutlines.
The Lawmaker who has also been an ambassador of Peace, used the moment to call on residents to maintain peace, adding that the youth of Njoro are focused and have no time for chaos.
And true to her words, the President in his address reiterated that the government is focused on development and will do all in line with the law to improve infrastructure.
