Baringo County has great potential that needs to be harnessed through Co-operatives including dairy and honey.
Co-operatives Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui urged the farmers in the County to embrace Co-operatives towards economic growth.
He spoke on Thursday May 30, 2024 when he graced Baringo South Cooperative Saccos Meeting in Marigat, Baringo South.
The event was also attended by Commissioner of Cooperatives David Obonyo and New KPCU Managing Director Timothy Mirugi.
“Baringo County has great potential that needs to be harnessed through cooperatives including dairy and honey,” he said.
The CS added that the cooperative sector is a key pillar of the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
