BAHLITA enters into MoU with African Originals

African Originals’ Commercial Director Kelvin Kuria has lauded the move stating that it will go along way in strengthening both parties.

“We are thrilled to officially join BAHLITA, an organization that has consistently championed the interests and growth of entrepreneurs in the hospitality and bar services sector,” Kuria stated adding that Africa has great potential and identity in crafted beverages.

He added that the partnership comes at a pivotal time as the company aims at leveraging BAHLITA’s extensive network to drive engagement of members.
This will in turn advance the collaborative opportunities within the industry.

The partnership between African Originals and BAHLITA will see creation of a platform for addressing common industry challenges, influencing policy formulation, and promoting best practices across the sector.

This, even as statistics indicate that the hospitality and bar services sector continues to significantly contribute to Kenya’s economy.

This is through provision of employment to many citizens and contributing substantially to the national GDP.

BAHLITA has been instrumental in advocating for the interests of its members by liaising with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders to shape policies and regulations that impact the industry positively.

The association’s efforts have been crucial in creating a conducive business environment that fosters economic growth and stability.

Speaking during the event, BAHLITA’s Secretary General Boniface Gachoka reiterated commitment towards improving the welfare of members.

He added that engagement with all stakeholders remains key in advancing objectives.

“BAHLITA recognizes the importance of engaging with stakeholders at various levels to advance our objectives and foster mutual understanding,” stated Gachoka.

According to Gachoka, constructive dialogue and collaboration with partners like African Originals, will see strong relationships built to enhance service delivery, promote innovation, and uphold the highest standards of integrity within the industry.
