Bahati MP Irene Njoki’s ‘AKIBA NA MREMBO’ transforming livelihoods

Since inception, Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki’s ‘AKIBA NA MREMBO’ Program has continued to transform livelihoods.

This is a program that has seen several groups trained on matters economy.

Through the “AKIBA NA MREMBO” empowerment program, the office of the MP has been training groups to access various Government funds beyond the Constituency Uwezo Fund.

“My office has been training groups to access various government funds beyond the Constituency Uwezo funds,” she stated.

According to the first time serving MP in Parliament, this has been made possible through collaboration.

She revealed that in collaboration with MSMEs PS Susan Mang’eni, they launched a record Ksh 3 ,400,000 for 27 groups in the constituency.

The Lawmaker urged beneficiaries to ensure they use the opportunity to empower themselves and be self reliant through various businesses.

According to her, self-help group investments are key to wealth creation,” she said.

“I am committed to continue expanding access to government funds for more groups, as self-help group investments are key to wealth creation,” said MP Njoki.

On many occasions, the Legislator has always maintained that her agenda is to see a transformed Bahati Constituency.
