“Marriage is God’s Plan and that’s why we are here to celebrate the ruracio of Sylvia Ngatia  and Simon Kuya,” he stated.

The Servant of God was categorical that tribe has nothing to do with marriage and called on young people to embrace inter-marriages as a way of enhancing cohesion.

He also challenged Men to be close to their families for a better society.

“Family is the best Institution on earth and should be protected and women should be respected for the role they play in shaping families,” he said.

Earlier on the ceremony was full of learning about Kikuyu and Turkana cultures where the two love birds come from.

Guests were treated to music and dances from both communities.

The duo expect to have their wedding on June 22, 2024 in Lodwar, Turkana County.
