MP Njoki holds meeting with local administrators to chat development agenda

Bahati MP Irene Njoki on Saturday August 10, 2024 convened a development meeting with local administrators among them Chiefs and assistant chiefs.

During the meeting, key priorities for development were discussed.

They included among others the creation of new administrative units, the fight against illicit alcohol and substances, general security, and the upcoming rollout of the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF).

Speaking during the meeting, the Lawmaker reiterated her commitment to work with administrators in driving the development agenda.

She at the same time welcomed Social Health Insurance Fund which aims to end the frequent fundraisers for medical treatments our people have endured.

MP Njoki also used the moment to I brief the administrators on the Government policies as outlined by President William Ruto.

“Moving forward, we will leverage on our administration to disseminate Government programs through their channels,” she stated.

According to Njoki, her steadfast commitment is to engage all stakeholders to guide the development pathways.

She noted that this is aimed at ensuring that every voice is heard and accommodated towards progressive transformation of Bahati constituency.
