A total 31 students have from Kivumbini Ward have enrolled for short courses at Vera Beauty College.
The students commenced their training on May 22, 2024 after orientation.
“I am glad to announce that a total of 31 students from Kivumbini Ward have today officially commenced their training in various short courses at Vera Beauty College in Nakuru,” stated the area MCA Neto Sakwa.
The short courses include; Catering, Fashion and Design, Hairdressing, and Beauty Therapy.
According to MCA Sakwa, this has been made possible through Bursary Kitty in line with the County Government’s agenda and his commitment to ensure youth have skills that can help them become independent.
The short courses will take 2 to 3 months before they sit for examinations.
The MCA urged the 31 students who have commenced their studies to make good use of the opportunity.
